SJL Fall Internship
We are also currently soliciting applications from the Student Justice League Fall Internship. We are seeking individuals who are creative, energetic, and committed to justice for incarcerated people.
Intern responsibilities will mostly consist of assisting with case intake and management. We are also looking for candidates with experience in video production, graphic design, event planning, and fundraising to help further develop our organization.
Ideal candidates will be accountable, responsive, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a flexible, start-up work environment. We are prioritizing candidates who are currently enrolled at Barnard College or Columbia University, but anyone (high school, undergrad, post-grad or otherwise!) outside of Barnard and Columbia is still encouraged to apply.
If you are interested in applying, please send a resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be interviewing candidates on a rolling basis. This position is unpaid, but we can support you in applying for an internship grant or in seeking college credit. We are asking for about 4-8 hours a week. The work will be mostly virtual, with the potential to transition to a workspace in East Harlem (25 minutes from Columbia's campus).
